How to use the PopShops TypePad widget

  1. Create your free PopShops account. It takes only a few seconds and is necessary for us to track and update your shops dynamically.
  2. PICK PRODUCTS: After you create your account, search through millions of products by keyword and click to add the ones you want to feature in your shop.
  3. CLICK TO CUSTOMIZE: The default style works well as a TypePad sidebar. But if you want to add your own flair, click "Styles" to create your own custom look and feel.
  4. In the Customize tab, click on titles and descriptions to modify (or hide) them in the Style editor.
  5. If you are a Pro or Enterprise user, click "AutoFeed" to generate additional pages of products.
  6. POP IT IN: Click the Pop it in tab and choose "TypePad" from the flavor dropdown menu.
  7. After you click the TypePad button, login to your TypePad account.
  8. Choose the weblog(s) you want your widget to appear on and click the Add Widget button at the bottom of the page.

How to pop affiliates products into your TypePad post without using the widget

  1. In the Edit Post page of your TypePad admin panel, click the "Edit HTML" tab.
  2. Follow the first five steps above to create your affiliate shop.
  3. POP IT IN: Click the Pop it in tab and choose "JavaScript" from the flavor dropdown menu.
  4. Copy and paste that JavaScript into your blog post.
  5. Save and publish as you would normally do for  a blog post.
