How to use PopShops

Getting started with PopShops is as easy as 1-2-3! Pick your products, customize your shops, and pop them into your website or blog.

With PopShops, it all starts with the concept of a "shop." A shop can be a single product, a multi-page storefront, or a widget that you've constructed from products you've chosen. For each shop you will be given a small snippet of code to embed into your website or, if you're using TypePad or Blogger, you can add your shop to the sidebar of your blog in a single click.

First, pick your products.

After you've created your PopShops account you'll find yourself in the Pick products tab of ShopBuilder. Here you can search by keyword across more than 37 million products from your favorite merchants and affiliate networks. Browse products and add them with a single click. Create as many shops as you want - up to 10 for the Basic (free) account, or unlimited shops with our Pro and Enterprise plans!

Next, customize your shop.

Click-and-drag within the little thumbnail viewer to arrange your products. In the Customize tab, change the look of your shop with either our default styles, or create your own! Customize almost anything you want: titles, images, prices, merchant names, and/or descriptions to suit you!

Tip for Pro and Enterprise users: Click on Autofeed, which adds SEO-friendly pages to your shop, with products similar to your hand-picked choices.

Last, pop it into your site and start earning.

PopShops supplies you a small "snippet" of code for you to copy and paste into the HTML of your website. You simply pick the spot that you want your shop to appear, paste the code (think of it as an image or a table that you'll be embedding), and hit refresh on your site. As soon as you paste your code, your shop is live and available to your site visitors.

All of our plans offer JavaScript snippets and one-click Typepad and Blogger widgets. Upgrade to our Pro plan and use server-side snippets including PHP and ASP.NET. Our Enterprise plan offers XML, ATOM, and CSV feeds, among others.

Note: We need to know your network affiliate ID(s) so we can build your links to ensure your proper credit. If you didn't enter them when you signed up, you can do it on Your account page, while browsing merchants on the Pick products tab (just click on one of those tiny network icons by the merchant names), and on the Pop it in page (the Network.ID manager will highlight any networks you've selected that don't have an ID associated yet).
